Computer Rules

Your eyes need to meet my eyes
When I say HANDS, you must stop touching the computer and look at me
Do not SOOT (speak out of turn). Raise your hand (and wait) if you have a question

CP1

Week 1 on Thursday, we took turns drawing pictures with ANFY paint and worked in partners .. we voice recorded # of bytes in our name ... one idea might be to create pictures for the Boston Home

CP2 (Mondays)

 Week 1 involves typing, Macs and PCs and solar system
 
  Questions for grade 3:
 How many times can you type your name on the screen in 1 minute pushing ENTER or RETURN after each one?
 Which planets have the most bytes in their names?

  

CP3 (Mondays)

 Week 1 involves typing, Macs and PCs and insects (list of insects and scientific names)
 Questions for grade 3:
 How many bytes in Harlem, your name and the tricky one of New York?
 What do we call 1,000 bytes?
 Can you using copy and paste produce a kilobyte on the screen, perhaps as a 1 page document?
 
 Not yet covered:
 what is the URL for our set of Student Web pages?
 

CP4 (Mondays)

Week 1 involves typing, Macs and PCs and Google Earth and communities
Week 1 we started Google Earth, trying to make a fly by of their houses
We covered bytes, perhaps kilobytes
