We're happy to announce that email for Storefront staff is now active.
You can access your email through the world-wide web at the following address: http://webmail.registeredsite.com. You will need a usename and password to log in and read your mail.
Your user name is your first and last names with no punctuation plus "@thechildrensstorefront.org" (for example, kathyegmont AT thechildrensstorefront.org using the @ symbol of course.
Your password is: ________________________________________ .
Please change your password the first time you log on, for your own and the school's protection.
If you already have an email address, and you don't want to check two separate accounts, your account can be set to automatically forward mail to your current address. Please contact me if you have any questions regarding this or other advanced uses of your email account.
ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY FOR EMAIL
Click here for the full AUP for the school
- Check your email at least once daily, and delete or download messages regularly.
- Do not share your password with anyone; you are responsible for all use of your email account.
- Use email only for lawful purposes. Commercial use of Storefront email accounts is not allowed.
- Personal use of email is allowed, but remember that you represent the school when you use our address, and avoid language and images that are abusive, hateful, harassing, potentially offensive, or in any other way inappropriate or unprofessional.
- Students may not currently send or receive email at the Storefront, but faculty may do so on their behalf (e.g. to maintain contact with family members/tutors/big brothers & sisters/class pen-pals, etc).
- Do NOT open unexpected attachments -- this is how most computer viruses are transmitted. If you know the sender, call or email them to check that it's legitimate. If you don't know the sender, contact the school technology department BEFORE opening the attachment.
- Remember that sending e-mail is like sending a postcard; there is no guarantee that it is private. Do not send passwords, social security numbers, financial or other confidential material by e-mail.
- The Storefront does not monitor staff email, but requests that you maintain awareness and respect for the policies that allow us to provide these accounts to everyone free of charge.
